More than 20 people were injured when two camps; Jubbaland forces and Somalia National Army forces clashed on Monday at Bulahawa town neighbouring Mandera town leaving many businesses closed.
Those receiving treatment for various injuries such as burns are more than 15 security officers and six civilians according to officials.
The clashes halted air transport in Mandera town sandwiched between Bulahawa and Suftu areas in Somalia and Ethiopia respectively.
On Mogadishu, supporting SNA, allegations that Kenya was supporting a militia group in Bulahawa, the government said the clashes could displace Somalis and result to surge in refugees into the country.
